Ragam Dhanashri

Dhanashri Ragam is a Hindustani Raaga and is very close to Abheri in Carnatic music. This ragam is usually sung in the afternoon. Here is the notation for the Thillana Dhanashri composed by Swathi Thirunal.

Goddess Gowri



Amari Kapari is a small geetham in Nattai Ragam in praise of Goddess Gowri. In Hindu Religion we worship Goddess Gowri for power and courage. Gauri represents purity and austerity. Also known as Swarna Gowri Habba, this festival is celebrated in the State of Karnatka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
